Cham Hendon was enrolled at the Art Institute, Chicago, the University of New Mexico and the University of Wisconsin. In 1978 Cham Hendon participated in the pioneer exhibition of Bad Painting curated by Marcia Tucker at the New Museum of Contemporary Art, where he became more widely known to the public. Hendon’s pieces of art can be found in such public collections as the Birmingham Museum of Art; Chase Manhattan Bank; City College of New York; Madison Art Center; Metropolitan Museum of Arts; Neuberger Museum of Art.
